There is is non-refundable materials fee of $25.00 per week per child, due at the time of registration that will be applied to your first week’s tuition. If you have any questions, please talk to Teacher Jo, Teacher Jaylene, or stop by the office to talk to Caroline. We would love to spend time playing and creating with your awesome kiddos this summer!

Star Class, Star Class Books
Each year we like to create a fun book for the kids so they can remember their Star Class friends.  It is a fun book, kind of like Brown Bear, Brown Bear but with pictures of their Star Class friends. We would like to create one for your child this year, but will need to ask for help in printing out pictures. Check out the sample (a previous year’s book) next to the sign-in sheet! If you are interested in getting one, please pay Teacher Jo or Teacher Jaylene $5 per book by May 16th so we have time to get the pictures developed. Thanks!

Volunteers Needed
We will need help assembling the Star Class, Star Class books on Thursday, May 29th and Friday May 30th. This will count towards your voluteer hours, needed by the end of the school year. If you can help, please let either Teacher Jo or Teacher Jaylene know. Thank you!

2014-2015
If you know of anyone that is looking for a preschool next year, we still have openings in some of our morning classes and afternoon classes. So please refer your friends!

Spring Assessments
This week we will be continuing our Spring Assessments. Feel free to talk to us at any time if you have any questions or concerns, but the progress reports will be going home the middle of next month.

This week
This week we are going to learn about butterflies, ladybugs, and get ready for Mother’s Day. We will be reading two of our favorite Eric Carle books, The Very Hungry Caterpillar and The Grouchy Ladybug, as well as creating our very own Hungry Caterpillar. We will continue to watch our tadpoles change and grow as we move on to learn about these beautiful and helpful bugs. Feel free to come in and visit the tadpoles when dropping off or picking up your child!

Word Wall
This week we will be introducing the letter J for Jar, Jewels, and Jump.  Please have your child bring in items that start with the letter and put them in the pelican so we can share them at the end of the day.
