Newsletter - November 4th

Star Class News
Week of November 4th

Fall is our favorite time of year with all of the colors of the leaves. We could use some colorful leaves for our projects for next week. If you and your family are out and see some great colors of leaves, please bring them in! We will be doing several different projects and could use as many as possible.

Day Lights Saving Time
We hope that everyone remembered to turn back their clocks for Day Light Savings time November 3rd. Enjoy the extra hour in your day.

This free event will include ornament making, reindeer food, cookie decorating, and photo booth. The whole family is welcome to come get a jump on holidays and spend quality time together creating crafts.

This week in the Star Class
We will be beginning our Fall unit, talking about what happens to trees and leaves in the winter and what colors we start to see outside as the weather gets colder. We will be creating some fall leaves to decorate our class. We will continue our unit into next week since we only have three days of school!

Word Wall
There will be no letter of the week this week for word wall, instead your child can bring in something from home and we will see if we can make up or find a word that rhymes with it! Remember all sharing should be put in the pelican to keep it safe until sharing time at the end of the day.

This weeks songs in the Star Class

Sorry but we will already be singing Christmas songs!! If you hear them at home, we know it is a little early but in order to have at least some of the kids sing at the Winter Concert we need to start singing them now. We won't put them in the newsletter so you can be somewhat surprised at the concert.
