Week of November 3rd
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Halloween. I can’t believe we are already in November! I want to thank everyone for making the Halloween parties so wonderful. It was great to get a chance to see the kids in their costumes! Remember to set you clocks back an hour today if you haven't already done so.
Conferences
Parent Conferences are scheduled this Thursday November 6th (No School Thursday 11/6 or Friday 11/7). If you have any questions or concerns that you would like to discuss please email me this week so I can give it my full attention before we meet. If you haven't had a chance to sign up or need to reschedule, please let me know.
Winter Concert
Mark your calenders for our annual Winter Concert. The Star Class will be preforming on Monday, December 8th. We are looking for a pianist for both concerts – Monday, December 8th and Tuesday, December 9th. If you or someone you know are willing and able to volunteer, please let Teacher Katie know.
This week in the Star Class
This week we will be finishing our Halloween themes with some animals that are thought of as “Spooky” animals. We will be creating Bats and Spiders and talking about what it means to be a nocturnal animal.
Word Wall
This week we will be starting with the letter Gg for Gorilla or grape (please don't bring in a real grapes, it can get really messy). Your child can bring in an item that starts with the letter of the week and we will write the word out and put on our word wall. They can put their item in our pelican that is by the word wall.
