Star Class News
Week of February 23rd
Last week not only did we finish up our Mo Willems unit, but we had also got to see special guests. On Wednesday, we got to see Kyle's dad talk to us about Fire trucks with the Rainbow Room, and on Friday we learned how to take care of our teeth with Dr. Susie. The kids did wonderfully changing up their schedule last minute and were wonderful audiences for both guests.
Family Fun Night
Come Celebrate Dr. Seuss with us this Friday Night from 5:30 -7:00. We will have fun games, crafts, and books as well as a dance party at the end of the night!

Mark your calender for our Auction Saturday April 18th at Big Al's. Tickets will be $18/person, or $34/couple until April 10th. After April 10, tickets will be $22/person or $40/couple. This is an adult-only night, and a night where we can have lots of fun, play games and have a good time.
**Families who purchase auction tickets will get free bowling coupons
Spread the Word
We have started our open registration for next year. The best way to get our preschools name out there is for our families to spread the word. If you hear of anyone looking for a preschool, please let them know what you think of our school and send them our way if you have had a good experience. We have a 2 ½ year old class, 3 three year old options, (Star, Sunshine and Dragonfly), 3 four year old options (Dragonfly, Busy Bee, and Butterfly), and a Kindergarten class.
Box Tops
We will turn in box tops by March 1st. Please bring any box tops you have and turn them in to the directors office or put them in our Box Top envelope hanging on our bulletin board. The person who brings in the most box tops will receive a free ticket to the auction.
This week in the Star Class
This week we are going to be learning through the work of Leo Lionni. We will be reading books suck as Little Blue and Little Yellow, A color of his own, and Fredrick. On Tuesday we have another special guest coming to talk to us about how to care for our teeth.
Word Wall
This week we will be continuing with the letter Rr for Robot or Red. Your child can bring in an item that starts with the letter of the week and we will write the word out and put on our word wall. They can put their item in our pelican that is by the word wall.
